Madagascar 2014 - first steps in dynamic agroforestry
Naturefund and Missouri Botanical Garden test if and how dynamic agroforestry might work in Madagascar. That is why we sent a staff member from Madagascar to a training program in Bolivia.
A new project linked with a dream
In 2014 we started a new project in Madagascar, linked with a dream: We want to initiate there dynamic agroforestry, which leads to a farm similar to a natural forest. This gives people more than enough food and at the same time provides a habitat for the diversity of species. That is why we sent Jeremie Razafitsalama (short, "Jimmy"), Project Director from our partner Missouri Botanical Garden (MBG), to a training program in Bolivia, organizing at the same time the training course in Madagascar.
