At the beginning of March, many helpers followed our call and we were able to set up very nice egg depositories for the Aesculapian Snake. Our reserve is now well prepared for the Spring and we look forward to welcome the first snakes after their hibernation.
Richard Abt from Naturschutzhaus Wiesbaden is enthusiastic about the quality of the new nesting sites: "If we are lucky, snakes will retire there for hibernation even this or next winter".
