In the south of Costa Rica there are still large lowland rainforests - home to a unique biodiversity. But the partially still unprotected forest is threatened by pasture and plantation farming, poaching and logging. For 12 years, we and our partner in Costa Rica have therefore been pursuing a vision: to buy land for nature in order to preserve the rainforest and its unique biodiversity in the long term. Our founder Katja Wiese recently visited our project in the small Central American country on the Pacific Ocean to promote our project: The construction of a green climate bridge between two globally important national parks - Corcovado and Amistad National Park. You can get impressions of this project visit here.
