In Hamberger Moor and Niedersandhausener Moor Naturefund buys privately owned land and protects it permanently. Together with the NABU Hamberger, the NABU Osterholz-Scharmbeck and the Lower Nature Conservation Authority Osterholz-Scharmbeck, the areas are wet again and the moor can develop naturally again.
